While I’ve been doing a lot of leadership development courses and workshops over the years, I have never really had a formal leadership role. When I started my photography business back in 2009, I was the one running around like a chicken with our heads off all the time. It’s been great to learn new things and grow as a leader, but it’s a constant work in progress. One of my most significant learning curves has been figuring out how to create balance in my life. As my business has grown, so has my family, bringing its unique set of challenges. In short: it’s not always easy being a leader, but it’s worth every minute!

I have always wanted to work in the film industry, so my dream job is to become an assistant director. I started working in the film industry as a production assistant several years ago and worked my way up to production coordinator and director’s assistant.
