Algorithms and platforms understanding: Content is often not only distributed on one channel but on many different platforms. A basic understanding of algorithms and platforms is part of the repertoire of a good content strategist.
Leadership: As a content strategist, you usually have a team around you or work in-house with other departments. It is therefore helpful to develop leadership or management skills. Only content strategists who build a good team around themselves can work successfully and efficiently.
Copywriting and editing: Even if as a content strategist you no longer necessarily produce content yourself, in my opinion, the ability to create good texts is absolutely part of the skill set of a good content strategist.
